Aeroflot Sukhoi Superjet Acquisition

Aeroflot Sukhoi Superjet Acquisition for another 10 aircraft. The Russian flag carrier, Aeroflot is committed to the acquisition of an additional batch of 10 Sukhoi Superjets. The purchase will be done via Russian state owned lessor, Sberbank.

The agreement signed between Sberbank and Aeroflot reported through the public procurement website Zakupki. They said that the whole purchase is held in leasing for 12 years. The aircraft are added to the 30 superjets that Aeroflot ordered from Sukhoi in 2005.

Since June 2011, the the airline has received 29 Sukhoi Superjets. It is expected to take delivery of the 30th shortly. At this acquisition Sberbank and VEB were the lessor.
