P-8A Poseidon Upgrades Minotaur Software. The last contract for Boeing P-8A Poseidon includes a new software capability for aircraft of the US Navy. Including sea search radar and sensors to correlate electromagnetic spectrum. However, whole processes will become automatically.

The USN awarded Boeing USD 60.8 million. As part of increase of 3 Block 2 Poseidon improvement is expected August 5 2016. Third increase of the aircraft to reach initial operational capability in 2020. It expected improve the ability to detect submarines and surface ships.

The latest mature amendment Block 2 capabilities and includes improved coherent active computing multiple static. Also adds new security architecture. So the link updates the common data and a new software update known as the management system tracking Minotaur. As a result this will be sort of direction.

Minotaur ingests data from multiple sensors and disseminates information to aircraft. Thanks to Applied Physics Laboratory of Johns Hopkins University for great invention. Baseline capabilities of the software includes surface radar tracking, correlation bias correction sensor data, playback of the mission, control sensor, display and sensor monitoring management. Minotaur has already been deployed in other Navy, Air Force and Customs and Border Patrol aircraft.

Minotaur was designed to integrate sensors and data into a complete picture, and allow multiple planes and ships to share information via network.
