China Huarong Agrees to Buy C919 and ARJ21 Comac. China Huarong Financial Leasing (CHFL) has signed a framework purchase agreement for 30 Comac C919 aircraft and 20 regional ARJ21 aircraft.
The agreement, which raises the total commitment for the C919 to 815 units and the ARJ21 to 453 units, was signed in Beijing on February 26.
The C919 under development completed its first flight last May, and Comac aims to achieve certification and enter the aircraft in service in the period 2020-2021.
The ARJ21 has been in operation with the launch customer Chengdu Airlines since 2016.
