As of March 31, 2019, the A380 will replace the Boeing 777-200ER in one of the two nonstop services available daily. The movement will increase capacity by 236 seats per flight.

The aircraft is configured with nine seats in the La Première cabin, 80 in the Business cabin, 38 in the Premium Economy cabin and 389 in the Economy cabin.

Air France's ten Airbus A380 already serves eight destinations: Abidjan in Côte d'Ivoire; Johannesburg in South Africa; New York-JFK, Los Angeles, San Francisco and Washington in the United States; Mexico City, Mexico; and Shanghai in China.

In addition to the change of aircraft from Atlanta, Air France will begin flights on March 31 between Paris Charles de Gaulle and Dallas.

The route will become the 13th US destination of the airline from Paris and will be operated by an Airbus A330 with a capacity of 224 seats.

During the summer season of 2019, up to five weekly flights will connect the two cities.
