Qatar Airways Converts -900 to -1000 Airbus A350 Series. Qatar Airways will take another five Airbus A350-1000 converting previous orders of five A350-900.

The agreement will bring the commitment of the Doha-based operator to the largest aircraft of 1,000 to 42 aircraft.

He received the delivery of his first A350-1000, the initial customer cell, in February of this year. The Twinjet has 44 additional seats in the Qatar configuration compared to its 900.

The Qatar conversion marks the first firm order to be announced for the year 2000 and, according to the latest figures in the Airbus order book, it will take global orders to 173.

Airbus had delivered five A350-1000 by the end of August, including two to Qatar Airways and three to Cathay Pacific.

Qatar had already ordered 39 A350-900, after having cut four compared to its initial contract of 43 copies. The conversion will reduce this to 34, which means that the 1000 will account for most of your agreement for 76 A350.
