American Airlines Places Another 50 Embraer E-175 Jets Order. American Airlines has signed a firm order for another 15 Embraer 175 aircraft.

American now has 104 E175 in order, adds Embraer, noting that the US airline recently placed an order for 15 units in May.
Embraer estimates that its share in the North American aircraft market is 76 seats, or more than 80 percent, after having ordered approximately 435 E175 aircraft from regional airlines.

The new agreement has a price list value of USD 705 million.
