Flydubai Records Profit After 5 Years
The gulf-low-cost-carrier, Flydubai recorded profit USD 68 million in 2014 fiscal year.
In this fifth operation of the carrier, the company successfully earned USD 1.2 billion as a total revenue.
United Arab Emirates based airline says that the profit came from expanding destinations and routes for another 23 new routes last year. The company also confirm that 2014 profit is 12 percent higher than 2013.
Flydubai carried about 70.5 million passengers annually, worldwide.
They fly to 86 destinations, to Europe, Africa, Asia and Middle-East. Anticipating the growth, Flydubai to buy another 111 of Boeing 737 Series. The delivery expect to be done in 2023. Currently Flydubai operates only 45 aircraft and 86 destinations.
