The landlord disclosed the transaction in a stock market statement, but did not identify the customer that would lease the aircraft, or any other condition of the order.

The transaction is valued at $ 1.08 billion based on published prices, but it is likely that BOC Aviation will pay much less, since the aircraft will be among the last 300ER produced during the transition from Boeing to the 777X series.

According to Flight Fleets Analyzer, between 10 and 300 ER will be delivered in 2020, including two for Aeroflot Russian Airlines, and the remaining eight are listed as ordered by unidentified customers.

BOC Aviation manages 20 to 300 passengers leased to Air Canada, Cathay Pacific, Thai Airways International, Turkish Airlines, Qatar Airways, EVA Air and Air China.
