JetBlue To Fly Detroit and Cleveland in April 2015

9 January 2015. JetBlue Airways announces to add more routes in 2015 to its growing airport at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport with once-daily nonstop service.

The New York based airlines to start its service on 30 April 2015, these routes are from Fort Lauderdale to Cleveland Hopkins International Airport as well as Fort Lauderdale to Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport.

The only airlines who fill these flights are Delta and Spirit Airlines in Fort Lauderdale - Detroit route. Meanwhile in Fort Lauderdale - Cleveland only Spirit and Frontier Airlines.

Initially JetBlue will set the schedule, as follows:

- Fort Lauderdale to Cleveland, depart at 08.00 am and arrival at 10.50 am

- Fort Lauderdale to Detroit, depart at 3.20 pm and arrival at 6.20 pm

Both flights will fly with Airbus A320 Series and carry about 150 passengers.

Kim Butler, JetBlue vice-president of marketing says new JetBlue flights provide better accessibility for passengers and vacationers visiting family and friends.

During promo session, JetBlue offers special fares start from US$ 23 up to US$ 49 in one-way trip on Friday. Besides Cleveland and Detroit, JetBlue also to open its new route to Albany.
