Air Canada Launches Montreal To Shanghai Daily Flight. The Canadian carrier has confirmed that it is to launch daily flights throughout the year from Montreal to Shanghai on February 2017. The connection will represent the first link directly to China from Montreal. This also become the first use of aircraft Boeing 787 Dreamliner for long-haul flight.

The CEO of Air Canada said, the service will build on the success of the company in the growing Chinese market, adding that their point of introduction to the airline's commitment to "expand our global reach and reinforce Montreal -Trudeau as a strategic hub." China is the second largest trading partner of Canada. In addition, Air Canada has made a significant investment, worth to USD 1 billion in aircraft acquisition and equipment. Specifically assigned to serve the Chinese market for our Canadian centers.

"We will be the first and only Canadian airline to use daily and nonstop trans-pacific flight between Montreal and the Asia-Pacific region, and with an elapsed time of 14.5 hours, will be the longest flight ever operated by Canadian airline. The direct flights will also help boost tourism, trade and the economy.
